Periodic Inspection Report

If you are buying a property or wanting to let a property out, then you may need a report on its condition. The periodic report will be a full test and inspection of your installation, and will highlight any faults present. The inspection usually takes half a day.

Complete Rewire

Free quotes are given and we will assess all of your needs and give you a fixed price and rough time scale. Rewires for an average house can take from 3-10 days. We endeavour to work around your needs and leave your property in a tidy and liveable condition at the end of each day. All rubbish is removed from site and we can arrange a plasterer if needed.

New consumer unit (mains/fuseboard)

Are you sick of messing about with that fuse wire? I think most electricians will agree with me when I say if your mains board is the old re- wirable fuse type, its time to upgrade. Mains boards are made even more dangerous when people don't have fuse wire and put nails and other things in! A new consumer unit with MCB`s is a much safer option and will have added protection in the form of an RCD.

Outlet renewals

No job is to small! From sockets and switches to outside lights.

Extractor Fans

Is your bathroom a little steamy and humid after a shower? Then why not have a fan installed, there is a good range of fans out there, some very powerful ones for those of you with power showers. The fan is installed on an external wall, and can be drilled out using our diamond core drills, so no need for any plastering. Or we can fit an inline duct fan, which can be vented through a roof tile vent.

Extra sockets, lights.

If you are in need of more sockets around your house, or maybe an outside socket for that lawn mower? Downstairs sockets must be RCD protected (an added safety feature) though, so if new sockets are installed downstairs and you don't already have an RCD, we will fit one.

Downlights

There is a wide selection available from brass, polished chrome, satin chrome etc. They can be fitted in most ceilings, and we use vapour proof ones for the bathroom.
